John
Mohler is a seminar leader and nurse consultant with over 20
years of nursing experience. John received his baccalaureate
degree in Biology in 1981, and his baccalaureate in Nursing
in 1985 from the Orvis School of Nursing. He presently works
as a flight nurse for Care Flight in Reno, Nevada and is the
primary instructor for John Mohler & Co., a seminar company
dedicated to teaching better ways learn and master the
“alphabet” classes. John has been published twice,
including one clinical study on pulse oximetry waveform
utilization.
His past
experiences include over 30 years of Emergency Medical
Services (EMS), as well as staff nurse positions in
intensive care, emergency/trauma nursing at St. Mary’s
Regional Medical Center in Reno.
In
recognition of his excellence and significant contributions
in Nursing, John was honored by the March of Dimes as Nurse
of the year in 1994. In addition, he has received numerous
nominations and awards for contributions made to both
nursing and EMS.
John is happily divorced and has two adult children
and three wonderful grandsons, and holds certifications
in emergency, critical care, trauma and flight nursing. He
also regularly lectures to regional and national audiences
on pediatric and adult emergency topics.
